Omaha Junior Lancer’s Midget Minor U16 in Regional Silver Stick Championship Game

The O.M.A.H.A. Junior Lancer U16 Minors traveled to Chicago the day after Christmas to participate in the 2007 Illinois Regional Silver Stick Tournament. The Jr. Lancers took on the Northern Express Wednesday night. The final score was a 2-2 tie. The Jr. Lancers then took on the Huskies Thursday morning and won 3-2 and then went on to win Thursday night against the Flames 6-3. Friday the team beat the Cyclones 2-0 which qualified them for the Semi-final match Saturday moring at the Addison Rink. The Jr. Lancers played smart and worked well together to beat top-rated Chesterfield 3-1. The Lancer’s are now in the finals Saturday night at 8 p.m. at the Addison Ice arena.
