2009-2010 Jr. Lancer Coaches announced!

O.M.A.H.A. is pleased to announce the following coaches have been named to coach the Jr. Lancer
midget major (U18) and midget minor (U16) teams for the 2009-2010 hockey season:

Dave Wilkie – Jr. Lancer midget major (U18) Head Coach. For the past two seasons Dave has coached the Jr. Lancer midget minor (U16) team, taking 2nd place in Nationals in the 2007-2008 season. Dave brings experience as a player, Assistant Coach, Head Coach, Scout and Recruiter. Dave played six years in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers. Dave will also serve as A.C.E. Director for O.M.A.H.A. (USA Hockey A.C.E. Handbook) |

Jake Ortmeyer – Jr. Lancer midget minor (U16) Head Coach. Jake was Assistant Coach for the Jr. Lancer midget major (U18) team for the 2008-2009 season. Jake began his hockey career in O.M.A.H.A. at an early age. He then played Junior hockey in the NAHL and USHL leagues earning a scholarship to play four years of Division 1 hockey for Miami University Redhawks of the CCHA. After college Jake spent 6 years playing over 400 professional hockey games in the AHL, ECHL, UHL and CHL leagues . |
