The Omaha Jr. Mavericks Bantam team concluded their season Sunday, March 1st, splitting a pair of 1-0 games with Lincoln in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
The Mavs finished the year with an overall record of 24-19-6-1, playing a challenging schedule which included 9 games against “AA†teams and 8 games against Lincoln’s top team, which elected to play at the “A†level this season. The team recorded two tournament victories and finished second in the Midwest League.
Goalies Alejandro Anderson and Tanner Diero combined for a 2.08 goals-against average during the season, posting 12 shutouts. Kyle Regen led a balanced offense in scoring, with Cole Richter, Jack Weiss, and Brian Hawkins each contributing 14 or more goals during the year.
Congratulations to the Bantam A’s for a successful season!
