NOTE: There will be NO ADMISSION OR GATE CHARGE for spectators at this event.


COMPETITION FORMAT:

U5: Born 2007 or 2008 | Cross Ice | Mini Nets
U6: Born 2006 or 2007 | Cross Ice | Mini Nets
U8: Born 2004 – 2006 | ½ Ice | 4v4 w/ Goalie
U10: Born 2002 – 2004 | Full Ice
U12: Born 2000 – 2002 | Full Ice
U14: Born 1998 – 2000 | Full Ice
High School: Must be a current high school student in the 2013-2014 school year | Full Ice
High School Alumni: Must be high school alumni | Ages 18-25
Adult (Beginner, Advanced & Elite): 18 Years & Older | Full Ice | No ringer rule will apply


ROSTERS:

U5 & U6 – Minimum of 6 players per team
U8 – Minimum of 8 players per team
U10 & Up – Minimum of 10 players per team

ROSTER UPDATES: If registered online, the head coach or team representative may edit the originally submitted roster online, free of charge. Free online roster changes will be available through the early registration deadline of July 1. Any substitutions or additions to the roster after July 1 must be made by completing the Roster Change Form found at CornhuskerStateGames.com and will include a $10 roster change fee. All roster updates must be submitted by 5 p.m. onTuesday, July 16.

TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member (by parent/guardian, if a minor) before competition.


REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES:

If registered by Monday, June 17, the Ice Hockey entry fee is:
U5 & U6 - $40 per PLAYER
U8 - $50 per PLAYER
U10 & U12 - $850 per TEAM
U14, High School, High School Alumni & Adult - $900 per TEAM

If registered between June 18 and July 1, Ice Hockey entry fee is:
U5 & U6 - $45 per PLAYER
U8 - $55 per PLAYER
U10 & U12 - $900 per TEAM
U14, High School, High School Alumni & Adult - $950 per TEAM

FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, July 1. Some sports accept entries after July 1 with an additional fee. If not specifically stated in the sport information, please contact the NSC office at 402-471-2544 to see if your sport accepts late entries.

NOTE: Entry fee includes an athlete shirt, passes to SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies and a copy of the NSC Yearbook. Head coach will receive the athlete t-shirt and pass to the Opening Ceremonies free of charge. Yearbooks will not be shipped, but will be available at the Opening Ceremonies on July 19 and during packet pick-up.

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Online registration for U5, U6 and U8 divisions is set up to accept both INDIVIDUAL player registration, as well as TEAM registrations. Online registration for U10 and up is TEAM registration only.


ATHLETE PACKETS & TEAM BOXES

SPECIAL PACKET PICK-UP: Athlete packets and team boxes will be available for pick-up at Motto McLean Ice Arena on Thursday, July 18 from 6 – 9 p.m.for Ice Hockey participants. Athlete packets include the CSG t-shirt, pass(es) to the Opening Ceremonies and other sponsor gifts. Teams who plan on attending the Opening Ceremonies, but are unable to pick up their packets on Thursday, can get their OC passes at the Packet Pick-up tent during SportFest from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

PACKET SHIPPING AVAILABLE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE: Those who choose packet shipping ($7 Individual, $14 Team) will receive shirt(s), Opening Ceremonies pass(es)  and sponsor gifts more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies. Packet shippers will also receive a certificate for a Free Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich.


AWARDS: Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the top three teams in divisions U8 and up. All participants in U5 & U6 will receive a Cornhusker State Games commemorative medal.
