Moylan IcePlex hosted the 2015 Nebraska State Championship game tonight, between TriCity Storm and Millard West Wildcats.

These two teams didn't disappoint the packed house.  Millard West came out flying and dominated the first half of period 1, putting TriCity on their heals immediately.  But it was TriCity who struck first, with a goal from Garrison Lowe.  That goal was enough to neutralize the relentless pressure of the Wildcat offense.  The game was back and forth and shots were even for most of the game but TriCity capitalized on more opportunities.  With 5 minutes left in the game and TriCity up 3-1, the Wildcat offense turned up the heat again.  But it was TriCity's defense that prevailed in the end.  Final Score 4-1.  Congratulations to Coach Nemeth and the entire TriCity team.
