The Omaha Junior Lancers Varsity program implemented a Hall of Fame in 2015 to recognize outstanding efforts by those players who distinguish themselves based on the criteria below. OJL has had a remarkable history with the Midwest High School Hockey League dating back to 1990. The archives are available at the MWHSHL (Midwest High School Hockey League) website (http://midwesthighschoolhockey.pointstreaksites.com/) if needed. The following OJL high school players are being recognized, followed by the requirements that placed them on this prestigious form of recognition.
There are two ways that a varsity player is inducted into the Junior Lancers Hall of Fame;
For a player to reach the Hall on an automatic selection they must satisfy all or parts of the criteria below:
Played 2 or more years, including senior year in the Varsity Program AND at least one of the following:
The other way that a player will or can be selected into the Hall will be by a vote of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
If you are an alumnus of the high school program (either Junior Lancers or Gladiators) please send your current contact information; the year that you played and what team you played for along with an email via the link below using the subject of Alumni Status.
Good luck to all alumni of the program.
Sincerely,
Hall of Fame Selection Committee
