Junior Lancer Community Service

Our Junior Lancer High School players have been doing

a number of volunteer activities around Omaha

· ‘Adopt a Junior Lancer’ All players participated as mentors for the Omaha Hockey Club youth teams.

· Assisted with the annual Spring Joust youth hockey tournament.

· Helped at the food pantry of Stonebridge Christian Church.

· Helped with the Habitat for Humanity project.

· Partnered with the Omaha Sports Commission during the 2013 Speed Skating Nationals.

· Assisted with the Nebraska Human Society.

Omaha Junior Lancer Volunteer Informaton

All players from the Omaha Junior Lancers hockey team will use this page for updated volunteer information and / or forms that may be needed to complete your volunteer hours.

Volunteer hours will consist of time spent helping member teams within the Omaha Hockey Club as well as additional team assigned functions within the community.

All Omaha Junior Lancer Players will need to complete this form for volunteer work with the Omaha Hockey Club partner teams. Forms will need to be validated and turned into Coach Hughes before your first assignment or by November 6, 2012; whichever comes first.

The following volunteer projects are eligible community service/team recognition:

Volunteering with an assigned Omaha Hockey Club Hockey Team or any other Omaha Hockey Club sanctioned event.
Volunteering as assigned to a community organization (example; Food Bank, Toy Drives etc.)
