Omaha, NE | Registration is currently open for our 6th Annual Junior Lancers Invitational Golf Tournament presented by Mechanical Systems Inc (www.mechanicalsystemsomaha.com), which benefits the Junior Lancers High School Hockey program. This year’s tournament will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the striking Tara Hills golf course in Papillion, Nebraska.

The Junior Lancers high school hockey program benefits high school ages players across the Omaha metro to help offset costs for the program.  The program is funded by private donations and fundraising events.  During the season these young adults learn not only the game of hockey but also life lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship, support, listening skills, focus, quick thinking, time appreciation and leadership. This is an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of golf and help raise funds for some deserving young men.

The Junior Lancer High School Golf Tournament presented by Mechanical Systems Inc serves as one of our primary fund raisers for the program. Fees are $85 per person or $300 per foursome. Individual golfers and twosomes will be paired into foursomes. Food, Fun and prizes will be on hand at the conclusion of the tournament. The tournament includes cart, golfer swag bag, dinner with raffle festivities for golfers and guests following the event.

The Omaha Junior Lancers High School Hockey

The Omaha Junior Lancers High School hockey program is the premier high school hockey program in Omaha, NE. The team is comprised of the junior varsity/varsity structure and they play in the Midwest High School Hockey League which plays competition from Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska cities. The Junior Lancers strive to be the state representative to attend USA Hockey Nationals which will rotate each season, Omaha hosted this event in 2014 and will host again in 2021.

Tara Hills Golf Course

Tara Hills Golf Course has been a favorite among metro golfers since 1981, and the tradition continues year after year.  With fast undulating greens, four sets of tees, and mature tree lined fairways, this course is designed to be enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.  An 18-hole championship golf course is classic golf at its best.  The course features a 6100-yard layout with a par of 70 to challenge all golfers.
