December 14 and 15 @ Ralston Arena

- Omaha, NE – December 10, 2012

The Omaha Junior Lancers of the Midwest High School Hockey League return to action this weekend travelling to Lincoln to face the Junior Stars at the Ice Box and then they return home hosting the Des Moines Capitals.

The Junior Lancers look to improve their record going into Christmas with three wins this weekend with games on Thursday night (in Lincoln starting at 6 pm) and Friday night (Varsity @ 6 pm and Junior Varsity @ 8:15 pm) and Saturday afternoon (Varsity @ 4:45 pm and Junior Varsity @ 7:00 pm).  Please note the Saturday night game time changes from the original schedule.

The varsity Capitals (7-3) come into this weekend with a slightly better record than Omaha (5-5) as this is an anticipated battle for four points between the two games.

Coach Thomas is very optimistic about his clubs chances this weekend; “If we come out and play a smart physical game for a full 60 minutes we will get the wins.  We have struggled with consistency this season, but we have the leadership on the team to get us back in the mix.”

The coaching staff is not overlooking any of the teams in this league and expect them to come out and give them everything that they have.

Come out and support the Omaha Junior Lancers in their weekend series vs the Des Moines Capitals, $5 admission will get you into both the varsity and junior varsity games, students will pay a reduced rate.

ALL Omaha Junior Lancer High School games are played at the Ralston Arena in Ralston, Nebraska.
