Omaha, NE | For those of you that are unfamiliar with the teddy bear toss, it’s an event that is popular with hockey teams/leagues where fans bring teddy bears to a game, and after the first goal everyone will toss the bears onto the ice. The team then collects the bears and gives them to charity.
The Junior Lancer High School Hockey program is asking all fans to bring a new, unwrapped stuffed animal to the December 6, 2014 games (JV and Varsity) at 3 pm and 4:30 pm against the Quad City Blues. By bringing an animal you will be helping make someone’s smile a little brighter this holiday season.
All stuffed bears/animals collected will be given to the Methodist Children’s Hospital.
We all hope to see you there to support the cause and watch some high school hockey action!
The 2014-2015 season is here; don’t miss any of the action! Full schedule for the Junior Lancer High School team can be found at the high school website www.omahajuniorlancers.com
