Members,

The annual Board of Directors Election is quickly approaching. Any member in good standing with the organization is welcome to run for any open board position. In an effort to increase the membership knowledge regarding candidates for board positions, we ask that every candidate complete a short bio (see below attachement).

Please complete and return the bio electronically to Gilinda Giles at ggomahahockey@cox.net. This bio will be posted on the website and your name will be placed on the April ballot. At the April Annual Board Meeting, all candidates will be allowed an opportunity to address the membership present as well prior to the election.

Positions for April election:

President - This individual is responsible for overseeing the running the OHCCorporation. The President is a member of every organizational committee. This person is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Treasurer - This individual is responsible for overseeing the Corporate finances, including developing budgets for all house, travel and select teams. This person is a member of the Executive Committee.

House IP- Mite Director - This individual is responsible for heading up the House IP- Mite teams. Along with a committee of dedicated volunteers, this person will be responsible for the running of these divisions

HS House Director -  This individual is responsible for heading up the HS House teams. This person will be responsible for the running of this division, with the help of the HS Steering committee.

Ice Scheduler - This individual is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all of the ice time (both practice, game and tournament times) for the organization at the various ice rinks in the area.

Travel Director - This individual is responsible for heading up the Travel program. Along with a committee of dedicated volunteers, this person will be responsible for the running of all travel age groups.
