2018-19 Girls Hockey 10U & 12U Evaluation Skate

Hockey Families,

We will hold our 10U & 12U evaluation skate on August 11, 2018 at 3:15 pm @ Baxter Arena.  (Birth dates January 1, 2006 and later)

The cost is $15 per player

Location:              Baxter

Date:                     August 11, 2018

Time:                     3:15 pm – 4:15 pm

Bring a dark and a light colored jersey, and be dressed and ready to take the ice by 3:15 pm.

If you do not sign your daughter up using the link below we will not know to include her on a roster.  Therefore, if your daughter plans to play for the girls program for the 2018-19 season it is necessary to use the link to sign her up for this evaluation skate. 

If you cannot attend but wish to be included on a roster, there will be an opportunity during the registration to let us know.  Simply click on the button that says: 

I am unable to attend the tryout, but wish to be considered for this team.

This will let us know to be sure and include your daughter on a team.  If you cannot attend but wish to be included, you must still sign her up using the link.

There are two main purposes for this skate.  

1) To see how many players are planning to play for the girls program.  This helps us to set up our rosters and allows coaches to start signing up for tournaments.

2) Evaluate the skaters to be sure they are ready for a competitive team.  Coaches will observing the player's basic skating, stick handling, passing and shooting.  If a player does not have these basic skills we find they struggle on a competitive team which leads to frustration of the player and the team.  Often times the ill prepared player leaves hockey at an early age.  

It is our goal to have all of this completed before we take the ice for the 2018-19 hockey season.  We look forward to your daughter’s participation in this skate.
