2021 IP to Mite Transition Camp registration is open!

July 6, 2021 to August 24, 2021. 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Tuesday.

All sessions will be held at Grover Ice.

Space is limited to 30 skaters.

The camp is open to players with birth years 2015, 2014, and 2013 that are not currently playing Mite house hockey.

Please contact the Mite Director or the IP Commissioner for more information, or if you would like to volunteer to coach!

Mite Select 2021-2022

Our select program is one catered to those players that want a little extra compete. There is a tryout, and the players will have to be selected by the coaches to participate on this team. The select team will be comprised of approximately 20-22 players. They will play on house teams throughout the season and practice with their house coaches and teams. As a select team, they will get an additional practice every week with the select team and coaches. They will participate in approximately 4-5 tournaments within a maximum 3-4 hour driving distance. There will also be an option for a few local tournaments.

There is an additional cost for this team. It typically runs about $500-$700 in addition to the Mite house fee of $525, for a total cost between $1,025 - $1,200. The budget will be completed once the coaches decide on additional ice time and tournaments to be attended. You still register as a normal house mite, and the additional budget will be determined at a later date. 

The goal of all kids at the 8u level is to learn to LOVE the game. We do our best to teach the kids the correct fundamentals while creating the passion for this sport. Any questions, please reach out to the Mite Director at ipmitedirector@omahahockey.net
