Preseason House Clinics

Our Bantam Body Angling & Checking Clinic is a required development program for all new and incoming Bantam House players (14U) within the Omaha Hockey Club House Program. This clinic is designed to help players safely transition into body contact hockey by teaching proper body angling, positioning, checking techniques, and contact confidence in a controlled, age-appropriate environment.

Led by experienced TIP coaches, the clinic focuses on player safety, awareness, and skill development while reinforcing USA Hockey standards for body contact. Players will work on techniques such as angling along the boards, delivering and receiving contact properly, balance, puck protection, and situational awareness during game play. An off-ice classroom and on-ice instruction is included.

Our goal is to ensure every player enters the Bantam level prepared, confident, and equipped with the skills necessary to compete safely and effectively throughout the season.

Our Mite to Squirt Transition Clinic is an optional development program for all new and incoming 10U Squirt House players within the Omaha Hockey Club House Program. This clinic is designed to help players smoothly transition from cross-ice Mite hockey to full-ice Squirt hockey while building confidence, awareness, and game understanding at the next level.

Led by experienced TIP coaches, the clinic focuses on the key differences players will experience at the Squirt level, including full-ice positioning, offsides, icing, line changes, faceoffs, and increased game flow and pace. An off-ice classroom and on-ice instruction is included.

Our goal is to help every player feel comfortable, prepared, and excited as they take the next step in their hockey development and enter the Squirt level ready for success.
